Start here

ARCO is the place on Arc where capital goes to trade and to earn. It is an exchange with its own pools, a router that also checks every other exchange on the network, and a vault that pays the hub's fees to the people who lock TARCO.

The three things you can do

  • Trade
Type an amount, see every price on Arc, get the best one. Swapping
  • Provide liquidity
Put two tokens in a pool, pick the price range where they work, earn the pool fee on every trade inside it. Providing liquidity
  • Lock TARCO
Lock TARCO for 7 days up to a year and receive a share of every fee the hub keeps. Locking TARCO

How the pieces fit

Traders pay a small fee to the pool they trade in. Most of that fee goes to the people who put liquidity in that pool. A fixed slice goes to the lock vault. When the best price is on another exchange, ARCO still takes you there and charges a small routing fee, which also goes to the vault. That is the whole loop: trades feed liquidity providers and lockers, and nobody sits in the middle holding the money.

Why the arch

The arch is how ARCO draws a price range. The crown, at the top, is the price right now. The left leg is lower prices and the right leg is higher ones. The lit part is where your liquidity is working. You will see the same arch when you add liquidity, when you look at a position, and on the home page.

An example range around an example price. The lit span earns, the wire cage does not.
