The fine print
Questions people ask
Short answers. Each one links to the longer page when there is more to say.
Do I need an account?
No. A wallet is the account. There is no sign up, no email and no deposit into ARCO: your tokens stay in your wallet until a transaction you confirm moves them.
Why do I pay gas in USDC?
That is how Arc works. The network fee is charged in USDC instead of a separate coin, and it is a fraction of a cent.
Why did my wallet ask me to approve before swapping?
The first time you use a token, the contract needs your permission to move it. It is a separate, one time transaction per token.
The best price is on another exchange. Why use ARCO for it?
Because you would have to check every exchange yourself to know that. ARCO checks all of them, shows you the numbers, and the 0.05% routing fee is already inside the quote that won.
My position says out of range. Did I lose money?
Not by itself. It means the price left your range, you now hold only one of the two tokens and you stopped earning fees. You can wait for the price to come back, or close the position and open a new one around the current price.
How often are rewards paid?
Fees build up with every trade. Anyone can push what is waiting into the vault at any time from the Stake page, and from then on it is yours to claim.
Can I unlock my TARCO early?
No. There is no early exit of any kind. You can top up or extend a lock, never shorten it.
Why do I see Uniswap pools on ARCO?
Because the router trades through them. When Uniswap on Arc has the best price for your pair, your swap goes there, and the 0.05% routing fee goes to TARCO lockers. Explore shows those pools with a venue tag so you can see the whole network in one place. Explore, Portfolio, Analytics
Can I add liquidity to a Uniswap pool from ARCO?
No. ARCO reads those pools and trades through them; it never writes to them. Open the same pair on ARCO instead: the pool page carries its price over, and on ARCO 87.5% of every fee is yours and 12.5% goes to TARCO lockers. Creating a pool
Can I list my token?
There is nothing to list. Create a pool for it, add liquidity, and it is tradeable and quoted by the router.
Are the numbers on the site real?
Yes. Every figure is read from the chain or from ARCO's own index of it. When there is no data, the page says so. Nothing is estimated to look better.
Who do I talk to?
Write to hello@arcodex.io. Nobody from ARCO will ever message you first.
