The fine print
Fees: who gets what
There are three fees on ARCO. Here is each one, who pays it and where it ends up.
| Fee | How much | Who pays | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pool fee | 0.01% to 10%, fixed per pool | The trader, on every swap in that pool | 87.5% to liquidity providers, 12.5% to TARCO lockers |
| Routing fee | 0.05% | The trader, only when the trade goes to another exchange | 100% to TARCO lockers |
| Network fee | A fraction of a cent | Whoever sends the transaction | The Arc network, in USDC |
The pool fee split
Liquidity providers 87.5%TARCO lockers 12.5%
The lockers' slice can be adjusted by the team only inside a band written into the contract, from 10% to 14.3%. Anything outside that band is refused by the contract itself.
What is free
Creating a pool, adding and removing liquidity, collecting fees, locking, extending, claiming and withdrawing cost nothing beyond the network fee. There is no deposit fee, no withdrawal fee and no performance fee.
Fees in other tokens
Pool fees arrive in whatever tokens the pool trades. USDC and TARCO go straight to the vault. For a token the vault does not list, the team can sell it for USDC and push that USDC into the vault. That is the only thing the team can do with it.
